Chuba Consulting, Inc was started by Felix Nemirovsky and Vadim Brenner in January, 2003. Having worked in corporate environments for over 10 years, both were inspired to build a more personal and gratifying experience. Leveraging their Optical Storage expertise and project management experience, Chuba assisted clients like TDK Electronics to reach new markets and achieve new revenue.

Felix Nemirovsky

Felix and Vadim are both immigrants from Ukraine, former Soviet Union. Both arrived here in their youth, growing up in San Francisco Bay Area. Felix was born in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine and Vadim in Odessa, a beautiful port city on Black Sea. Felix and Vadim met at San Francisco State University, graduating from School of Electrical Engineering in 1990. Prior to Chuba, Felix and Vadim worked together at Plextor and Oak Technology, both companies involved in Optical Storage industry. Post Chuba, Vadim went on to join Gracenote and Felix remained to continue Chuba business to present time.

I have been often asked, what does Chuba mean? Most expected a technological or deeply philosophical meaning but in fact the word is very simple and personal. It came from the Russian nickname I gave my recently born daughter. Chubchic is that bit of fuzzy hair that stands up on the front of infants heads, very soft and memorable.
